It's no wonder so many famous
writers and poets throughout the generations have found
inspiration in the intimate charm of North Devon.
Backing onto our park are the glorious Kipling Tors, enjoy
breathtaking views of the bay with walks and tracks to suit any
walker. Kipling Tors are named after the famous writer Rudyard
Kipling who based many of his stories in Westward Ho!.
Inland walks and cycling along the
famous Tarka Trail, featured on the BBC holiday programme and
inspired by Henry Williamson's novel Tarka the Otter is a must.
Also take the time out to explore some of the picturesque
villages dotted throughout the area.
Stroll down the cobbled
streets of Clovelly flanked by whitewashed 14th Century cottages
to the harbour below, you'll feel as though you have stepped
right back into a picture postcard.
